Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC

1. Service Agreement & Scope
By scheduling pet waste removal services with Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clear expectations for both parties and allow us to provide reliable, efficient, and safe service.
2. Pricing & Payments
Recurring Services: Rates are based on the number of dogs, yard size, service frequency, and waste accumulation. Pricing is communicated before service begins.
One-Time Cleanups: Fees are determined based on yard size, number of dogs, and waste accumulation.
Billing Cycle: Payments for recurring services are processed after each visit. The payment method on file will be charged following the completion of each service.
Card on File Requirement: A valid payment method must be on file before the start of service.
Cancellation Fees: One-time service cancellations on the day of the appointment may be subject to a fee.
Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for past services but may be considered for prepaid future services.
3. Initial Cleaning Discount Policy
Our discounted Initial Cleanup Rate is available for customers starting a weekly or bi-weekly service plan. To qualify, you must commit to at least three recurring visits after the initial clean.
If you continue service for at least three visits, the discounted rate remains applied.
If service is canceled before the third visit, the discount is removed, and the initial visit will be charged at the one-time cleanup rate instead. The difference will be applied to your final invoice.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure smooth service, customers must:
Provide an accurate estimate of when the yard was last cleaned.
Keep the yard reasonably maintained (no excessive overgrowth).
Ensure gate access is unlocked and pets are secured indoors before the scheduled service.
Confirm that aggressive pets are safely contained. If a dog is loose or the property is unsafe to enter, the service will be skipped and charged as a visit.
Keep all waste bins accessible if disposal on-site is preferred.
5. Scheduling & Service Interruptions
Missed Visits Due to Access Issues: If we arrive and cannot access the yard due to a locked gate, loose dogs, or other obstructions, the visit may still be charged.
Weather Conditions: Severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, extreme cold, snowstorms) may result in service delays or cancellations. Customers will be notified of any rescheduling.
Delays & Rescheduling: If an appointment takes significantly longer than expected due to excessive waste or yard conditions, it may require rescheduling to avoid disrupting other clients’ appointments.
6. Safety & Liability
Pet Safety: Customers must ensure their pets are secured inside the home before service begins. If a pet is left outside and service cannot be performed, the visit may still be charged.
Dog Encounters: The provider will not enter a yard with an unfamiliar or aggressive dog present. Customers are responsible for ensuring their pets are secured before service.
Worker Safety: We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe (e.g., loose pets, hazardous environments).
Liability Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. If liability is determined, it will not exceed the amount paid for the service in question or $100, whichever is lower.
7. Customer Communication & Notifications
SMS Policy: By scheduling services or submitting a form on our website, you agree to receive communications via call, text, or email, sometimes using automated technology. Messages will only be related to your service, reminders, or occasional special offers (no more than two per month). Reply END or STOP to opt out at any time. Standard text rates apply. Your information will never be sold.
Service Reminders: Customers will receive an automated reminder the day before their scheduled service and a same-day text reminder at 8:30 AM.
Arrival Notifications: We will notify customers when we are on the way, allowing time for pets to be secured inside.
Complaint & Dispute Policy: Customers must report any service-related issues within 24 hours of the visit. Refunds or corrections will be handled at our discretion.
8. Waste Disposal & Yard Cleanliness
Standard Service: Waste will be bagged and placed in the customer’s outdoor trash bin at no additional charge.
Full Waste Removal Add-On: If the customer does not wish to use their trash bin, waste removal can be arranged for an additional fee.
Excessive Waste Conditions: If a yard is found to contain excessive waste beyond the agreed-upon service, we reserve the right to adjust pricing or decline service.
9. Modifications & Termination of Service
Service Modifications: Customers may modify or cancel recurring services with a minimum notice period (to be specified in advance). Last-minute modifications may incur a fee.
Termination of Service: We reserve the right to terminate service under the following conditions:
Repeated failure to provide access (e.g., locked gates, unsecured pets).
Non-payment or failure to maintain a valid payment method on file.
Creating an unsafe work environment (e.g., aggressive pets, hazardous yard conditions).
Any other violation of these terms that impacts our ability to provide consistent service.
If service is terminated due to these reasons, no refunds will be issued for prior charges. Customers may request reinstatement at our discretion.
10. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, customers agree to attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting Scoop, Scoop, and Away LLC first. If a resolution cannot be reached, further action may be taken in accordance with Wisconsin state laws.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wisconsin.
12. Agreement Confirmation
By signing up for service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms. Any disputes or issues will be addressed in reference to this agreement.
